Mission, Vision & Values

Our Mission

Shenandoah School of Hope is a nonprofit organization that will provide vocational training and education to young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program will form partnerships with local businesses, universities, civic organizations and churches. Shenandoah School of Hope’s goal is to offer a vocation to high functioning adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities that will allow for independence, promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills and assert a sense of hope in the future.

Our Vision

To empower our students to develop a positive mindset for the future and acquire the knowledge, experience, job skills, and life skills that will allow them to reach their full potential as productive members of the community.
